SnapTi is a disruptive mobile app that transforms citizen science into a competitive, universal game. "Ti" originates from the extinct ancient Sumerian word for "Life" and the SnapTi team strives to capture life and support it before it too goes extinct. We have come together with the joint purpose of uniting ordinary people to perform extraordinary achievements while having fun and competing with each other. And with each image they capture, they are directly contributing towards saving our precious wildlife and supporting local communities who are dependent on the sustained existence of the wildlife.
Our Mission
SnapTi is the global mobile app that gamifies citizen science specifically for tourism. It allows visitors to wildlife destinations and urban parks to engage with nature by “hunting” and competing on various leaderboards for locally targeted species using their mobile phones or cameras.
Players actively participate in generating impactful and verified biodiversity data while also contributing directly towards local conservation and community activities. It offers players the opportunity to be part of citizen science in a playful manner, while driving real and measurable conservation outcomes.
